How can I add the Stop button in Google Crome browser’s toolbar?

I don’t see any option to make available that button. Say I click a link and the page starts to load and I suddenly want to stop that action. How do I do that in Chrome? Explain with details please. I’m new to chrome. Thanks so much.

    Miles C’s answer below is not correct. There does not appear to be a Stop button anywhere on Chrome’s interface. Just another Chrome bug, er, feature.
