free games is not listed in the programs but i still have the toolbar.how can i get rid of it?

not much more to add. i want to get rid of the freeride toolbar. so i went to start and then uninstall programs but this toolbar is not listed in the programs. help me, pleeeeease!

First — if you have not done so already, try using the Add / Remove programs utility in your Windows Control Panel. You can find step by step screenshots and instructions on how to do this at this reference site: http://uninstallmysoftware.com

If that doesn’t work, or if the software does not show up at all in your control panel, which I think is your problem, then follow these steps:

- Step 1 – Select and download any good software uninstaller application that has a free demo or trial version and try that first. Most of the time the free version is enough to fix the problem – (there are some good ones listed at the link above).

- Step 2 – Install and run the free software uninstaller you selected and follow its instructions carefully – you will see a screen with a listing of all the programs installed on your PC; often more programs than those normally listed in your Add / Remove control panel.

- Step 3 – Find the software you want to uninstall, then select and click "uninstall". All good uninstaller software will do the rest automatically. This next part is very important:

- Step 4 – Sometimes you also have to clean up your computer’s PC registry and remove leftover software keys from the uninstalled software after running the uninstaller. Some of the more advanced "pro" version uninstaller programs have this feature already built into it and will do the registry cleanup and backup automatically but some don’t. If yours doesn’t, then just use RegCure it usually works just as good — you can find a free link to it on the reference site above. If your uninstaller software does have a registry cleaner built into it – be sure to use it !

AVG bar accidentally deleted, how can I get it back to being a toolbar on internet explorer?

Someone accidentally deleted the AVG (Anti-Virus Free) Toolbar and I was wondering how I can get it back. It puts ticks next to websites that are safe etc but because the AVG toolbar isn’t there, it doesn’t. Please help!

Go to AVG website and look for tool bar installer.
I’m sure they would love to give you one.

Do a custom install of AVG and only select the tool bar if that is possible.

Did you look in the View/toolbar menu maybe you just de-selected it. usually you can’t get rid of those things.

was added which I did not want. I then removed avg free thinking I would add it back on. Instead it removed my yahoo and goggle toolbar and messed up my session manager.

I did a system restore but only went one day back.

After this avg free was back on but the yahoo and google toolbars were missing.

Tried to do several system restores going back longer but all said they could not be done and nothing had been restored or changed.

I also saw the session manager in a pop-up for add ons with other stuff that I paid little attention to at the time.

When I reboot and get the thing you click on that has say 3 windows with various tabs from the previous session, only the top page comes up.

If I go to session manager to get backups files to come up, nothing happens.

If I try to open a new window using file at the top of the screen and push on new window, none comes up which is very bad.

How can I get these things fixed. I did download google and yahoo toolbars but the buttons changed and when I reboot so far only google comes back when firefox opens not yahoo toolbar so I have to reinstall it each time

should I remove and reinstall session manager and will I lose my backup sessions if I do this

also why can’t I open new tabs.

Since system restore is not working except that once when I went back one day, how can I get this working right again.

not sure how to save my windows in session manager since it will not come up from the tools menu if I have to remove and reinstall it and will I lose everything or not.

Looks like your browser was messed up. Reinstall everything again. Session manager, Google+Yahoo toolbar and AVG toolbar by going to:
start menu>control panel>add and remove program.

Uninstall all of them first and install all from installer again. (Install AVG toolbar lateset)(install one at the time). For installer find them in yahoo! or google.

If I were you, I would uninstall AVG which ruin your computer. Like when I try Norton AV it ruined my computer and I change anti-virus.

If you want web protection toolbar use WOT or norton safe web lite is better. For anti-virus, use Avast or Avira. They are much better than AVG, trust me.

Every time I go to watch a movie on here, a window pops up saying "take this survey". It’s not a survey, though. Its a stupid game of Frogger. I go to play Frogger, and it tells me to download Gamevance. I can’t do that, because I don’t want all the crap that goes with it. Is there a way to watch movies online for free without "taking a survey"?

Indeed people are trying to make money and to force people to complete a survey.
This is side because information is free.

If you try hard you can find some nice websites with movies that have no ads and no survey.

How does the ”free rice” toolbar help fight hunger?

realize is how does it make money of me using their toolbar?

They get money from the sponsors which is used to buy rice for the hungry. If you answers questions, each right answer, sponsors donate 10 grains of rice to feed the hungry, each time you download the toolbar too. I guess that each time someone downloads the toolbar the sponsors donate rice. I also agree that it could be ads. So maybe each time you search with the toolbar, same thing, the sponsors agree to donate, everything comes from the sponsors.
