When you press clear private data on the toolbar it erases all the things you searched from your computer? Or does it go somewhere that can be retrieved? Is it gone when you clear it or can it be tracked?

I assume you are talking about this function on Firefox?

If you click Clear Private Data, a box should pop up, giving you the option to delete everything, or tick a few such as authenticated sessions, saved passwords, cache, cookies, etc.

Once you clear anything from here, it cannot be retrieved.

However if you want to just clear your browsing history & saved offline content, tick those and that will be deleted, but your saved passwords should still be accessible.

Hey this is my new toolbar that i made i think its really cool and helpfull when looking on facebook or e-mails

It also lets u go into a chatroom and talk to people anyone whos in the same chat room

I can delete the history for a particular day with the history Icon but I cannot go into the drop down menu to delete cookies, browser history and url history. I do have access to files, program files and to create and delete folders.

Right Click on Internet Explorer Icon -> Internet Properties -> Click on Delete Cookies and Clear History -> Ok

I recently downloaded IE7 but didn’t like so i removed it and went back to IE6. However, when i close it or open a new page, it keeps going back to the full toolbar. Is there a way i can keep it from doing that?

Ive just had to reinstall windows and on the toolbar when I click the ‘Mail’ sign it brings me to outlook express. Before I reinstalled it went to yahoo mail which is what I want. I dont want to download the yahoo toolbar as its a pain sometimes. I just want to configure the IE toolbar so when I click the mail sign it goes straight to my yahoo mail.

go to tools>internet options>programs>ser programs.

It now only comes down when I move my cursor over where it should be. It also is lacking the file, edit, view, etc buttons. Now the internet takes up to whole screen of the computer with no toolbar on top or bottom…How do I make it go back to the way it was?

Like the google search engine, yahoo answers icon so I can just click on the things I use often?
That worked for changing my search engine, but on my last computer, I was able to have icons I could click on that brought me to my yahoo inbox and told me when I had mail or a facebook icon I could just click on too… That’s more of what im looking for. Thanks

If you go to the search engine that is there already, click on it and go down to manage search engines. From there go to get more search engines and then in the search bar type in yahoo answers, or whatever it is that you want.
