When she is in word on apple mac safari there is web a toolbar that shows some previous web sites she has been to. She doesn’t know why they are there and some have been there a long time. If she un ticks the web tool it disappears from the toolbars so it doesn’t show anymore but when she ticks it again the old web page links are there. How does she delete the history of these web pages
when she has the ‘web’ option ticked on the toolbar it shows some websites in the past which were saved as web pages (she wasn’t aware of this as she didn’t save them as web pages). So some really old websites are there. I think she must have saved some word documents by accident as ‘web pages’ and some email addresses as web pages. She wants to remove them

if it’s the tool bar links in safari, option click (with pointer over the link) and pick delete

you might be able to bring it up if it is still in the cache

I also store my transactions on my flash drive, for proof if needed.

You should be able to access the internet directly from your original browser program in the main Programs list. Right-click the program icon, select Send To, Desktop (create shortcut) or ust click he program to open it manually.
If that doesn’t work for you, use another computer to download and SAVE the newer version of the toolbar, transfer to to a flash drive, and install it on your machine AFTER deleting the old toolbar.

Disable it through the browser you use, IE, Firefox, for example, or go to Add/Remove programs in Control Panel and remove it from there.

If you lightly tap (not click) the screen, the toolbar should pop back up. It’s also useful to note that double tapping (not clicking) will also zoom in.

Try any of these methods, in order, to fix the toolbar back the way you want it:

1. Try clicking F11 in case the browser was closed with the Toolbar minimized. Then go to View > Toolbars > Menu Bar and/or Navigation Bar and click to put a check mark so they stay visible.

2. Use the keyboard shortcut Alt + V at the same time to get to ‘View’, then open the Toolbars section. Check-mark the ones you need. (Alt and F4 does the same thing on some browsers.)

3. OR … Hover the cursor over an open space near the top of the address section (the ‘http://www.**** part) Right-click and you will get a drop down list with a bunch of toolbar entries. Just click the ones you want to check-mark them .

Menu Bar means File, Edit, View, Tools …
Navigation Bar means the Back and Forward arrows, Refresh and the main address – YOU NEED THIS!
