1. Download and run firefox to protect your from future spyware attacks and pop ups which are coming in through internet explorer (Trojan downloaders, win32 ) .Then update your windows through firefox

You can delete the history of search bar on ur homepage (whatever it is either Yahoo! or Google) by following this path. Tools> internet options> content> auto complete> clear forms. To stop the generation of history uncheck the box of forms.

You can delete the search history on ur yahoo toolbar this way. click the arrow in the search box. Select options, click clear history. Follow this path also. Pencil> toolbar options> uncheck the boxes of enable auto complete and enable history> ok.

To delete address bar history, follow this path. Tools> internet options> general > clear history > set the number of days to zero> ok.

You can highlight the URL. Then drag the icon that shows up before the URL (usually the firefox symbol) in to the bar where you usually have all your bookmarks. Or you can go "file: Bookmarks" and press "Add bookmark" and type in the URL.

If you are talking about the yahoo toolbar: click the pencil and go to clear search history!
TO Delete recent searches from popping up in the drop down menu on a search page.
Go to the search site site, click where you would type then push the down arrow
on your keyboard.
As you move your pointer over a word it is highlighted,
Highlight the word in the list then hold down the delete key on your keyboard.
To turn this feature off in yahoo tool bar: Click the pencil icon go to toolbar options/ under Search box uncheck the first 2.
To turn this feature off Open an IE page go to tools at the top/ Internet options click the content tab/ then click the auto complete button/ uncheck every thing there

All toolbars have a "clear search history" button. On the Yahoo! toolbar, click on the pencil and you'll see the button.

Dont dowload anything free online pleeaaase, they're water down versions of spyware and antivirus protection thats why they're free because they dont have all the features, go to Best buy and get the trend micro and spysweeper
