Toolbar

I would like a FREE toolbar that will block flash ads, annoying banners on webpages, and things like that. All suggestions will be appretiated, thanks.

These are general settings:

INTERNET EXPLORER: Tools> Internet Options> Privacy> Advanced:
here check ‘Override automatic….’; ‘Allow session cookies’; ‘Allow 1st party cookies’ & ‘Block 3rd Party Cookies’.

FIREFOX: Tools> Options> Privacy: Check ‘Accept Cookies from sites’
& Un-Check ‘Accept 3rd Party cookies’

For nearly ad-free pages when surfing; use Firefox with these add-ons:
Flashblock: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/433
Add block plus: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865
Popup Master: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1788

And if you use Charter, BT, Virgin or Talk Talk ISP services, add a note for some additional significant & stressful details.

   Use the Firefox browser with Adblock Plus extension. With this combo I very seldom see ads and usually only on more shady websites.
