I can’t remember if i have updated to google toolbar 6, is there some any way of checking?

Where you see a spanner like icon on your google toolbar, click on the arrow next to it then on the drop down click on about google toolbar, the window that comes up tells you the version.

On the Google Toolbar > (right hand side)
Click the down arrow and choose About Google Toolbar.
Version number will be shown at the top.

Put your cursor on the right-hand side of the toolbar and click the wrench. When you see text that says "About Google Toolbar", click it. Then it should show you what version you’re using….
