How do you delete history from Google toolbar?

I have got the google toolbar but cannot delete the list of searches that has been done. I have deleted the browsing history fron IE but everytime I start typing into the google toolbar all the previous things that have been searched for show up. How do I delete this or stop it happening completely?

If you click on the "Google" sign on the left,A drop down box appears with the option to "Clear Search History:"

Assuming you’re using the later version of the toolbar?

All you have to do, is at the end of the list of previous searches (After you click the arrow on the right of the search engine on the toolbar) at the bottom right, there is a clicky thing that says "Clear History"

Click it and WALLAH, no more history.

Go to Tools (on the right hand corner) and then click on ‘Delete Browsing History’ and and then when the window/box whatever, comes up on the screen, just delete what you want to delete!
