Hi,

I just installed the Google toolbar but it doesn’t show up even after I restarted my computer and is grayed out in IE Toolbar list. What is going on?

Assuming that you have installed the toolbar for IE and that the installation has completed, just follow the steps mentioned below and it will work:
1. Go to ‘tools’ on the menu.
2. Select ‘manage add-ons’.
3. Select ‘enable/disable add-ons’
4. Check if ‘Google toolbar notifier’ and ‘Google toolbar helper’ are enabled.
5. If not, then simply select them and check ‘enable’.
The toolbars should work.
If nothing works, just re-install the toolbar after uninstalling the previous one.
Also ensure that your Antivirus and Firewall allows toolbars.

Did mistakenly opt out the toolbars ?
Point out at your toolbar, right click and make sure the google toolbar is checked.
