How do I clear the Yahoo7 search toolbar autocomplete/ history?

Going through tools/ int opts/ content autocomplete
doesn’t have a clear entries, also going through to tools/ int opts/ gen/ browsing history doesn’t delete yahoo searchbar.
Yahoo help refers to a Settings tab/Pencil icon but my version doesn’t have this. Thanks for any helpful answers.

On the Yahoo! Toolbar click the drop-down arrow next to your Avatar and select "Toolbar Options".

Click "Clear Recent History" and mark the check boxe "Auto-clear recent searches when exiting…"

To get the pencil icon to appear mark the checkbox "Suggest using Search Assistant".

Click "OK" when you’re done.

If these options don’t appear you may need to upgrade your Yahoo! Toolbar, go to http://toolbar.yahoo.com Review "System Requirements",

There are two links, select "Download Yahoo! Toolbar" at the top of the page or "Download IM with Yahoo! Toolbar" at the bottom of the page. IM requires the latest version of Flash Player. For more information go to http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/messenger/messenger8/messenger/messenger-04.html
