How do you reset your yahoo search toolbar so it won’t do automatic word finishers?

when i go to type something in my search bar on yahoo, if i type in the letter b, for example, under the toolbar, there’s words like ball or boy or boyfriend from previous searches underneath that i can click on to complete what i’m typing. how do i get it to stop?

Go to tools–> internet options –> content. There is where you will be able to set and delete auto finish settings.

That is a function of your browser, not Yahoo per se.

    If you’re using IE:
In the file menu on the top of your browser
    Go to Tools
    Internet Options
    Advanced tab
Uncheck the box that says "Use Inline AutoComplete"
