Installing WinterBoard Without Restarting Your iPod Touch 2G
How to install WinterBoard on a jailbroken ipod Touch 2G without rebooting
1. Open cydia
2. do a search and find a program called SBSettings. Install it. slide your finger over the top of the screen to activate it. Look for an icon called respring. Your goin to need to use this
3.Go Back to Cydia and search for WinterBoard.
4.Install this but DO NOT REBOOT!!! I repeat DO NOT REBOOT.
5. Activate SBSettings and press Respring. This is an alternative to restarting you iPod Touch.
6. WinterBoard should be working after this.

Hi guys! Did you know that if you have downloaded/ jailbreak, with Blackra1n. and your ipod goes off. just let it stay in recovery mode.! and download blackr1n again and press make it rain, then your ipod comes back again!:) sorry for bad english

Really nice, man, thanks a lot for this. I wasn’t sure if this was going to work past the fact that Cydia will block you from using it and will continue to show the reboot screen until you reboot. To make sure, I opened up Cydia after respringing and, sure enough, I was able to use it right away! So, for anyone who’s wondering if it gets past the Cydia block, it does.
