How do I restore the date and time in the toolbar of my laptop?
I somehow deleted the date and time from the toolbar( at the bottom extreme corner) of my Laptop,Sony Vaio VPCEB15FG.As a result,I no longer have access to the Date and time on my toolbar. Could anyone out there please assist me with a clear step by step procedure of restoring the Timr on the toolbar..Thanks.
I am using the Microsoft Windows 7 Operating system.
For the missing clock right click your Taskbar, choose Properties, under the Taskbar tab checkmark "Show the clock", click Apply/OK.
For the Internet Connection icon go to Start>Control Panel and open Network Connections. Right click your Network Connection, choose Properties and checkmark "Show icon in notification area when connected", click OK,
Note: In Windows XP the system tray is called the Notification Area.

1. Open "regedit.exe" from the "Start" – "Run" dialog box.
2. Navigate to the following key: My Computer \ HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ policies \ Explorer.
3. You should see a REG_DWORD value named HideClock. Double-click this and change its value to 0.
4. Close the Registry Editor. You will need to logoff and back on or restart your machine for the change to take effect.
That is quite an unusual situation. Depending upon what OS you are using, may be someone could help you out on this one.
If you are using Microsoft Windows 7, then hopefully I can help you.
Please reply.
