    I thought I was …
I thought I was alone with my lack of ability with this *%#@ing program. I don’t have any problems with a real mixer and a reel to reel, DAT deck, etc.. But I think this program is NOT for people who haven’t spent ALOT of time messing with computers. I really believe they should send out tutorial DVD’s to all who don’t quite get it, or better yet a refund. I keep plugging away at it, but usually I just get frustrated and leave it alone after a while.

    I agree. It’s very …
I agree. It’s very difficult to understand, but there are lots of tutorials online and you wouldn’t ever get such a great sound with other products such as Magix Music Maker which is like 100% user-friendly.
I guess that Cakewalk Sonar is just not for beginners.

  9. Yeah they suck …
Yeah they suck their software doesn’t work, audio engine keeps stopping after 5 second of record time. The customer service are holes save your money or buy from soneone else unless you like total frustation.

Hey brotha… can you tell me why i can control or hear my VST intruments i am using my roland juno-g as a midi controller? Why i am not getting any sound from the midi track

  12. I agree that …
I agree that Cakewalk has a very poor manual. And that following the tutorial doesn’t result in what the manual says. Lastly, their tech help is very very poor. I suspect they have one guy. Every time i’ve called, the same guy answers after being on hold forever !! And he seems flat and uncaring about our ignorance.

I also agree that in 20 years, it is the most non user friendly program I’ve ever used.

  13. what wud you guys …
what wud you guys prefer for me to record with? FL studio 8, Cubase or Cakewalk sonar 2006?

  14. I agree. This There …
I agree. This There was no tutorial in my software Producers package, phone help takes all day, and the step by step tutorials do not offer the results the manual says

This is perhaps the most difficult pogram I’v ever used. If they just knew how to think simply
