I’ve looked in the Uninstall/Change options, but the toolbars aren’t in there.
I just right click the toolbar and go to properties….it does depend on the toolbar.
Some toolbars you can just un-check the box next to it after you right click the toolbar.
This doesnt uninstall it, just removes it. To uninstall you can usually (with vista) search from the start menu "yahoo (or whichever) toolbar" and it will come up with a folder that you can delete. You dont usually need to uninstall them…
good luck

In IE 7, Go to Tools->Manage Add-ons->Enable or disable add-ons… and look for the toolbar in there. Select it and then click the ‘Disable’ radio button in the lower half of the dialog
