My toolbars and tabs keep disappearing and I have to continually reboot?

The area where the toolbars and tabs are just goes blank with a background color and the only way to get them back is to reboot. This is happening more and more frequently. Several times a day. How do I stop this from happening?

Internet Explorer may be corrupted or damaged (bad registry keys, malware-adware, spyware, trojans, virus). Try running a full scan on your computer for viruses (you should be doing this periodically, typically once a month). If you anti-virus does not also check for anti-spyware, then after the virus scan run an anti-spyware scan (free versions of Spybot, Malwarebytes, SuperAntiSpyware). Search the Internet for download locations. If that doesn’t correct the problem, then if you are using IE 6, upgrade to IE 7 or IE8. If you are using IE 7, upgrade to IE 8. If you are using IE 8, then uninstall and re-install. Downloads for IE 7 or IE 8 may be found at microsoft.com/downloads.
