I have tried to clear it by internet options auto complete etc.
I do not have the pencil on my toolbar to clear it that way
Thanks
On your web browser go into:
>Tools
>Internet Options
>Click on CLEAR HISTORY
>Change DAYS TO KEEP PAGES IN HISTORY to 0 (zero)
>Click APPLY
>Click OK
Your done!
Hope this helps.

Depending on which browser you use, you may be able to uninstall the program that creates the toolbar.
Otherwise try "View->Toolbars->Options" or something like that.
